WATCH: HiToms Score 16 to Blow Away Forest City, Face Savannah on Tuesday

The High Point-Thomasville HiToms thrashed the Forest City Owls 16-0 in the West Division Championship round of the Petitt Cup Playoffs, thanks to a season-high 19 hits and home runs from North Carolina's Kip Brandenburg and Middle Tennessee State's Myles Christian.

Six HiToms starters accumulated multiple hits in the offensive outburst, giving the HiToms their most runs and largest margin of victory in the Coastal Plain League game this season.

With the win, the HiToms advance to the semifinal round of the Petitt Cup Playoffs against the South Division Champion Savannah Bananas. The HiToms will go on the road to face the Bananas Tuesday night at 7:00 - you can listen to the game LIVE with John Thomas and Nathan Bernstein on the call HERE.

The winner of that game would then face the winner of the Northwest side of the bracket - either the Morehead City Marlins or the Wilson Tobs.

The best 2-out-of-3 championship series begins on Thursday. Should the HiToms advance to face Morehead City, game one of that series would be held at Finch Field on Thursday, with the final games taking place in Morehead City.

If the HiToms advance to face the Wilson Tobs, game one of the series would be held in Wilson on Thursday, with the remaining games returning to Finch Field Friday and Saturday (if necessary).
