WATCH: Home Runs Fuel HiToms 4th Of July Win

Despite a 3rd place finish in the North, the Mustangs started July on a 4 game win-streak, beginning with a 3-1 win against the HiToms on the 1st.

They went up 2-0 quickly, but back-to-back blasts erased their lead in the 4th when Austin Pharr and Kip Brandenburg hit a pair of solo shots.

Martinsville retook the lead, but in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs and runners on the corners, Myles Christian cracked his 10th HR of the season to give HPT their final lead.

Riley Isenhour made the start, going 5 innings with 3 runs, just 2 earned.

4 pitchers came in relief, each one pitching a scoreless inning.

Ty Reginelli, Austin Reich in his first HiTom appearance this year, Tyler Garam, and Josh Nifong returning to record the save.

The bullpen combined for no runs, just one hit, one walk, and 4 strike outs, 3 from Reich.
