HiToms Shut Down Owls Offense on the Road

A 4-run 4th inning was the highlight of HPT's performance, but the most impressive showing was probably on the mound.

Riley Isenhour went 7 innings only allowing 2 runs in his longest start of the season, and Burl Carraway finished the game, giving up a run but getting 6 strike outs for all 6 possible outs.

McLean hit his 5th homer of the year, only one behind Myles Christian now.  They are 1st and 2nd in the entire league for home runs hit.

Another highlight is that big zero in the errors column for the HiToms, and Butler and Reese made a big catches in the outfield robbing extra bases.

Gastonia and Asheboro both lost their matches, giving HPT 1st place at least for today.  The HiToms lead the West at 8-8.
